A Christmas Cake

I hope you all are doing well. I know I promised to share the progress pictures of my make up cake and have not done it yet. Sorry! I'll do that this week.

Today, I wanted to share with you this Christmas inspired birthday cake I did for some one who misses Christmas in London.

This was inspired by the Christmas Cake I did last year. She really loved that cake in my gallery so much, it reminded her of her home in London before she came to Israel. So she told me she wanted just snowman, the Christmas Tree and some presents.. nothing more.
As you can see it's a fairly simple cake..
This is my signature vanilla creme cake with  Strawberry mousse, vanilla buttercream and home made sugar paste.  I used this snow flake embosser/cutter from PME to emboss the fondant and then lightly dusted it with some pearl dust later.

I have already shown you how to make snowman and the Christmas Tree last year but if you missed it here it is.

and here's last years Christmas cake which is quite similar.

Hope you liked both the cakes.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Hi!
Thank you very much for your blog! Your cakes looks lovely and recipes are fantastic (so fare I prepared fondant, gum paste, butter cream and vanilla cupcakes- all for my daughter 3rd birthday- and everything was fantastic). For Christmas I would like to prepare my traditional Christmas cake with your fondant, snowman and trees. It will be my second fondant cake so I don't expect that it will be as nice as yours but I will try... Thank you very much for all your posts and Merry Christmas!!!
